Lasers with cavities consisting of retroreflecting elements can give the potential for large-dynamic-range alignment-free operation, which makes important applications in adaptive wireless laser power transfer/communication possible. In such an emerging approach based on resonant beam cavity, is delivered to photovoltaic cell charging application (or photodiode communication application) at receiver automatically, without necessity positioning and aiming conventional transfer techniques.
